Updating Previously Entered Medical Histories

If more than 24 hours have passed since you entered the medical history information and you need to update the information:

  1. In the Patient List window, select a patient and select Clinical Management > Patient Medical History from the Options menu or from the Options section of the Express bar.

    OR

    In the patient chart, hover over the Medical Conditions, Allergies, or Medicines section in the patient banner, and click the link.

    The medical history information for the selected patient is displayed.

  2. To search for the appropriate history, click Find and select a date from the Date field.

  3. Click Update. The Physician’s Name field is highlighted.

  4. Make changes and click OK. If nothing has changed, click Update, and then click OK. A new medical history with the current date is created.

  5. Click Close.
