Specifying Practice Central Content

After setting security rights, configure Practice Central preferences to specify the content displayed for each user.

To set Practice Central preferences:

  1. Select an option:

The Practice Central Preferences window is displayed.

  1. In the Practice Central Content section, select the items to display, and deselect the items that you do not want to display.

  2. In the Content Settings section, select from the following options:

  1. To filter the patient list by appointment cost:

  2. To filter the patient list by a user-specified code:

  3. To filter the patient list by a specific balance:

  4. To filter the patient list based on how recently the patient has referred other patients:

  5. To filter the patient list based on how soon patients are re-entering the practice:

  6. To filter the patient list based on the length of time patients are out on referral:

  7. To filter the patient list based on how recently the patient has missed an appointment:

  8. To filter the patient list based on the number of appointments for which patients were late in a specified number of months:

  1. In the X-Rays Due section, type the number of years after which x-rays are due in the Bitewing at, Full Series at, and Panoral at fields.

  2. In the Show Totals For section, select an option:

  3. To display practice totals, click Practice. This information is displayed in the Production Goals section.

  1. To display totals for one provider, click Doctor, and select the doctor from the drop-down list. This information is displayed in the Production Goals section.

  1. In the Search the Scheduler for section, type or select the following information:

  2. Type the time unit interval in the Open _ Minute Intervals field.

  3. Select the provider in the For Doctor field.

  4. Type the number of days to search in the For the Next _ Days field.

  5. Select the rooms to search.

  1. To show the expansion icon when a section contains more than 10 records, select Show Expansion Icon.

  2. To specify how often the content in Practice Central should be updated, type the number of minutes in the Refresh Content Every _ Mins. field.

  3. Click OK.
