Painting the Daybook enables you to see which procedures should be scheduled during, or what production amount is targeted for any time slot. You can paint or mark color books.
Colors are also visible in the By Book (Book-At-A-Glance) window.
To paint the Daily Appointments and Book At A Glance windows:
Select Scheduler > Setup Goals and Colors. The Month At A Glance (GOAL) window is displayed.
Select an option:
Press Alt + D.
Select Default Daybook from the drop-down list at the top of the window.
The Daily Appointments (Goal) window is displayed. The provider identification number is displayed in the appropriate time slots. Patient names and procedures are not displayed in this view.
Select an option:
Painting or marking by provider enables the auto scheduler to use color scheduling, when searching for time slots for a provider.
To associate a color scheduling group definition with either the practice or a provider, select Choose Color from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu. The Scheduling Color Definitions window is displayed. Double-click a color group definition. The Daily Appointments (Goal) window is displayed.

To mark one time slot with the selected color group definition:
To paint a group of time slots or the entire day with the selected color group definition:
The selected scheduling color group definitions are displayed in all office books and the Book At A Glance window.
If the selected color group definition is applied by provider, the provider identification number is displayed in the appropriate time slots. If the selected color group definition is applied by practice, 0 is displayed in the appropriate time slots.
Click Close.
