Showing or Hiding Office Expert Items

You can show or hide items displayed in the Office Expert window. You can run an office expert item without displaying it in the office expert item list. All items are run at the specified time, but only those selected to be viewed are displayed in the list. To run an office expert item, see Running Office Expert Items.

Example:You can run the Yesterday’s Login Failures item, but because this item does not require any action, you can choose not to display it in the Office Expert window.

• If the security system is enabled, you must have the appropriate permission to perform this task. If the proper permissions are not set and you want to edit the criteria of an office expert item, see your software administrator.

To hide or show an item:

1. From the Experts menu, select Office Expert. The Office Expert window is displayed.

2. Select Setup Experts from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Office Expert Setup window is displayed.

4. To hide an item:Deselect the checkbox in the Show column for the item.

5. To show an item:Select the checkbox in the Show column for the item.

4. Click OK.

5. Office expert items are not displayed in the list until they have been run.
