If you failed to clock out for a previous work period, the software prompts you to enter a memo the next time you clock in.
To clock in without clocking out for a previous work period:
Select Clock In from the General Operations section of the Express bar.
Type your user name and password, and click OK.
OR
If a fingerprint scanner is attached to the computer and you have a fingerprint in the database, scan your fingerprint.
A message is displayed, stating that there is no clock out time and asking if you still want to clock in.
Click Yes. A record is added to the time clock database, and a message is displayed, asking if you want to add a memo for the time card that is not clocked out.
Click Yes. The Memos window is displayed. The fields are pre-populated, and a message is displayed, stating that there is no clock out time for the employee. Example
Type the time card administrator's name in the To: field, and change any other fields as necessary.
Click OK.
