Restorative Charting > Using Clinical Conditions
Clinical conditions are not posted as transactions. Tooth conditions charted to the current chart are displayed in the treatment plan mode. All conditions function as toggle switches: Charting the same condition to the same tooth a second time removes the condition. No tooth conditions are posted to the practice management software as transactions.
You can chart conditions for both primary and permanent teeth and roots. If you are charting for a patient who has mixed dentition, ensure that you select the correct tooth and surface.
To chart a condition:
Select the mode to indicate whether the condition is to be charted as current work or treatment plan work.
Select the condition from the Conditions toolbar.
You can select more than one condition at a time to chart to multiple teeth.
To chart conditions not represented by a button, select Other Conditions from the Conditions toolbar. The Clinical Conditions List window is displayed.
In the Select column, click the checkbox for the condition you want and click Chart Selected.
Select the teeth to which the condition applies. All selected conditions are charted to all selected teeth.
Click Save All.
