Viewing Appointments and Financials

To view appointment or financial information:

1. Select an option:

2. On the Palm Home screen, tap the Date Book icon.

3. Tap the SoftDent icon and select Appointments or Financials.

The Palm Date Book is displayed.

2. Office appointment information is in the Palm Date Book, along with any other scheduling information you have entered. If you have scheduling information for more than one day, you can navigate through the Date Book in the usual manner.

3. To view practice financials, scroll to the top of the Date Book screen. The Palm organizer shows receivables (production and collections) for a past or current day, and goals and scheduled production for a future day or days, according to your User Preferences settings in the PC SoftDent software. You will see the titles SD PRODUCTION and SD COLLECTIONS, or the title SD GOALS. To view the financial information, tap the note icon to the right of the title.

4. When you synchronize, financial information—including all receivables from past days and scheduled production and goals for future days (as specified in the User Preferences window)—is transferred to the Palm organizer. However, production and collections for today will only display if you have run a Daysheet report, and these totals will only be accurate for the day if you have run a Final Daysheet report.

5. If you select a day in the future in the Date Book and you have set goals in the PC SoftDent software, you will see the title SD GOALS. To see the financial projections, tap the note icon to the right of the title. Daily goal information passed to the Palm organizer is based on goals and scheduled production for a future date.
