Exercise 1:  Add a Lab Case

You are working in the charting module, and you want to add a lab case directly from the module.

To add a lab case:

  1. Click the Labs tab. The Lab case window is displayed.

  2. Click Add. The Lab case window is displayed in ADD mode.

  3. Leave the patient’s name as is, but change the doctor and the lab from the drop-down lists.

  4. Change the Opened and Expect Back fields.

  5. Type information in the Tooth, Shade, and Description fields.

  6. Click OK. The lab case is saved, and you are prompted to create a reminder memo for the day the lab case is due back.

  7. Click Yes and Close.
