Service Items
Service Items are items that can be added to a treatment plan, and are, in general, historic NHS items of treatment that were used by NHS England, Wales & Isle of Man prior to the introduction of UDAs in 2006.
Although these codes are no longer used by the NHS in England, Wales & Isle of Man, they are still available in R4+ and can be added to courses of treatment if required. In addition, you can add new service items, edit existing service items and delete existing service items.
