Patient Chart Lockout

If R4+ has been shutdown incorrectly, occasionally a user lock can prevent other users from accessing a patient's chart.  If this occurs, it is possible to remove the user lock so that other users can access the patient's chart.

To remove a patient chart lockout:

  1. From Clinical Administration, click Tools.

  2. Click Delete Chart Lock.  The Delete Chart Lock window is displayed.

  3. Select the patient from the list and click Unlock to unlock the chart and return to the Clinical Administration window.
