Restoring Archived Audit Log Entries

During the archiving process, entries are deleted from the main Audit Log window, and moved to a storage file.

To view entries that have been archived:

  1. From the File menu, select Security > View archived security log. The Archive Audit Log window is displayed.

  2. Use the filtering capabilities to display the information you want to restore. For more information, see Filtering Audit Log Entries.

  3. From the Archive Audit Log window, click Restore. A message is displayed prompting you to confirm the transfer.

  4. Click Yes. The currently displayed entries are moved to the main audit log file.

When the transfer process is complete, a message confirms the number of records that were restored.
