You must have an adequate security level assignment to access and view the audit log.
When the security level is set for each event, the person setting up security also designates when the events should appear on the audit log. The choices are Always, Never, On Success, and On Failure.
Some events, such as Scheduling an appointment, are less likely to be on the audit log than others. For example, Remove an entry from the ledger should always appear on the audit log when the event occurs.
To access the Audit Log, from the File menu, select Security > View main security log. The new Audit Log window is displayed.
A unique Event ID number is assigned to each entry. The date and time of each event is displayed, along with the individual who attempted the event and whether it was successful.
As you select events in the list, the Details area displays more information about the event.
You can also view the audit log as it pertains to a particular appointment or patient ledger:
From the Appointment Book, right-click on the appointment and select View audit log.
From a patient’s ledger, click View audit log.
The Audit Log window is displayed, but shows only entries related to the appointment or ledger you selected.
