Resetting a Password

A user with a security access level of 10 or a Technical Support representative can reset passwords.

To reset a password, follow these steps:

  1. Select Lists > Employees. The Employee List window is displayed.

  2. Highlight the employee’s name and double-click or click Edit. The Employee Properties window is displayed.

  3. On the General tab, next to Password (Required), click Create/Change. The Change Password window is displayed.

  4. Type a new temporary password in the New password and Retype new password fields and then click OK.

  5. Give the staff member the temporary password and instructions for changing the password.
