Using T.LINK to Make an Appointment Change

To make an appointment change for a patient:

  1. From the T.LINK Web Message Viewer window, select an account message with a checkmark under the Schedule Appointment icon and click Review Changes, or double-click the account message. The Review Changes window is displayed.

In this example, the patient has requested that her morning appointment be changed to an afternoon appointment.

  1. In the Appointments section at the bottom of the window, double-click on the appointment change request. The Appointment Summary window is opened in OrthoTrac, and the Appointment Change Request window is displayed.

  2. Reschedule the appointment as you typically would, using the information in the Appointment Change Request window.

  3. When making an appointment change, if you click Apply Changes on the Review Changes window, a message is displayed, stating that you must manually schedule the appointment. If you click Apply Changes again without rescheduling, the patient message is deleted, and the appointment is not scheduled.
