Processing Online Payments

When payments are made online, the TransFirst software stores the payment information on their FTP server. You can download this file to enter these transactions in OrthoTrac. For additional information, see Configuring Online Payments.

• To record these transactions, users must have this option enabled in their security profile and must use a workstation that is configured to use the online payment service. See Setting Up Security Permissions for more information.

To process online payments:

1. Select Reports > Financial > Online Payments from the menu bar. The Online Payment Reports window is displayed.

2. Select one of the following options:

3. Download and Post Online PaymentsDownload and Post Online PaymentsSelect this option to download online payment information from the TransFirst FTP site and automatically post all transactions.

4. Print Current Transaction ReportPrint Current Transaction ReportSelect this option to generate a report listing the most current online payments.

5. Print Prior Transaction ReportPrint Prior Transaction ReportSelect this option to select a dated file and to generate a report based on data in the specified file.

3. Click Close Online Payment Processing.
