Configuring OrthoTrac > Setting Up the Daysheet > Monitors
Daysheet monitors track specific configurable transaction types when you print the daysheet.
To set up daysheet monitors:
Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Daysheet Setup from the menu bar.
In the Daysheet Setup window, click Monitors.
In the Daysheet Monitors section, select a monitor. The transactions tracked by that monitor are displayed in the Selected Transaction(s) window.
At the bottom of the Daysheet Monitors section, select one or all of the available options.
In the Selected Transaction(s) section, add the transactions you want to include in the monitor from the Available Transaction(s) list. To add a transaction, double-click it or select it and click the left arrow.
The software displays a message, stating that all history for the changed monitor(s) will be rebuilt when you exit the Monitors tab. This process can take several minutes to complete, and the software asks if you are sure that you want to proceed.
To rebuild the history for the monitor, click Yes. The transaction moves to the Selected Transactions section and is included in the selected daysheet monitor.
In the Selected Transaction(s) section, remove the transactions you do not want to include in the monitor. To remove a transaction, double-click it or select it and click the right arrow. The Daysheet Setup dialog box is displayed, asking you to confirm that you want to rebuild the history for the monitor. To rebuild the monitor history, click Yes. The transaction moves to the Available Transaction(s) section.
After making changes to the monitor, click Apply. The REMONIT window is displayed, and the monitor history is updated.
Do not click the Update button unless directed by a software representative, or if you are at the end of a fiscal period. Some changes made with the Update function can make it difficult to compare future report totals with those of past reports.
To print the monitor, click Print. The Print Monitors window is displayed. Accept the default of Print Current Monitor, or select Print All Monitors, and click OK.
To rename a daysheet monitor, double-click the description on the left side of the window, type a new description, and press Enter.
