If your printer is not printing claim forms properly, you can adjust the alignment using the Usetmar utility.
Changes made using this utility affect the alignment of other OrthoTrac forms printed to the printer from the computer where the utility is run. For example, if you print coupons, the alignment changes made to accommodate an insurance form also apply to the coupon form. If coupons are printed from another computer to this printer, the alignment is not affected.
To use the claim form alignment utility:
Before making any changes to the margins, print a form to use as a guide, and leave the form window open so you can reprint the form after making an adjustment.
From the Windows taskbar, type c:\oms\usetmar. (Replace c: with the letter of the drive containing OrthoTrac, if necessary). The Set Printer Margins window is displayed.
The window displays the default printer for the computer. If this is not the printer used to print the form, click Select Printer. The Print Setup window is displayed.
Select the printer from the drop-down list and click OK.
In the Right Margin and Top Margin fields, click the arrow buttons to adjust the margins. Start with small adjustments.
Margin settings are in twips, a tiny unit of measurement. There are 1440 twips per inch.
To move printing left and up on the claim, use a negative number by clicking on the down arrow.
To move printing right and down on the form, use a positive number by clicking on the up arrow.
Reprint the form and repeat the above steps until the form prints correctly.
