Preparing the SQL Database Backup

Assigning Rights to Prepare SQL Backup Files

You must assign security rights to the employee who is responsible for preparing the SQL backup files.

To assign security rights to prepare the SQL backup files:

1. Select Maintenance > Security. The Security window is displayed.

2. In the Profiles section, select a profile type.

3. In the Category section, select Other.

4. Select Prepare Backup Files and click Yes.

5. Click OK.
