To create a default import folder:
In the Image Chart window, click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Add/Import/Export tab.
In the Default Exp/Imp Visit Folder field, type the path and folder name, OR click the Browse button to the right of the field and navigate to the folder.
Click OK. The path and folder name are displayed in the Default Import Folder field.
To create a default export folder:
In the Image Chart window, click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Add/Import/Export tab.
In the Default Export Folder field, type the path and folder name, OR click the Browse button to the right of the field and navigate to the correct folder.
Click OK. The path and folder name are displayed in the Default Exp/Imp Visit Folder field.
To display gridlines:
In the Image Chart window, click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Colors/View tab.
Select Show Grid Lines.
Click OK.
To change the background color from black to gray:
In the Image Chart window, click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Colors/View tab.
In the Background Colors section, select Gray.
Click OK.
To display the instructions for autosizing:
In the Image Chart window, click the Preferences button.
Click the Colors/View tab.
To display the instructions when autosizing is used, select Show Auto Size Instructions.
You can change the gallery layout from Records or Records + to Pans or Profile & Ceph or Intraorals, but the view you use most often should be displayed when you open the software. This view is determined by the default you select in your preferences.
To designate Records as your default gallery view:
Click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Display/Print tab.
From the Default Display Gallery drop-down list, select Records.
Click OK.
To examine the current values for annotations:
Click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Annotations tab. The Annotations window is displayed.
View the Font Color field to determine the color used for text.
