You can set preferences for each workstation, or you can standardize preferences for all workstations in the office.
To change preferences or to see the current preferences, in any Image Chart window, click the Preferences button. The Preferences window is displayed.
Add/Import/Export—This tab opens by default, and the Add/Import/Export Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the following defaults, among other options:
Import folder
Export folder
Display/Print—Click this tab, and the Display/Print Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the following defaults:
Display gallery
Print gallery
Print options
Annotations—Click this tab, and the Annotations Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the following defaults:
Font color, type, and size
Line color, style, and width
Highlight color
Number of times you can click
Undo
Colors/View—Click this tab, and the Colors/View Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the following defaults:
Display and print background colors
Gallery view and edit options
Option to view the PDF in
an external application, such as Acrobat
Scanner—Click this tab, and the Scanner Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the following defaults:
Images to be scanned
Scanner to use
CS X-Ray—Click this tab, and the CS X-Ray Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the defaults for your x-ray devices:
Ceph
Pan
RVG
Intraoral
CS Adapt
New devices use CS Adapt. The
star enables you to open the CS Adapt tool; the checkmark means the
default settings are used by the current user only.
CS Solutions—Click this tab, and the CS Solutions Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to set the
3D tool you use for Models and Restorations.
3D Display—Click this tab, and the 3D Display Preferences window is displayed.
Use this tab to modify the 3D preview option:
Disable the preview.
Enhance the quality or speed of the display.
