The Filmstrip enables you to acquire and rearrange images within a gallery. Drag and drop images to arrange a gallery in the desired order.
To access the Filmstrip:
From the Image Chart toolbar, click the Gallery Edit View button. The Filmstrip is displayed. You can select the following options from the Filmstrip toolbar:
Select this option to apply changes and close the Filmstrip view.
Delete this visitDelete this visit
Select this option to delete the current visit. All images that were imported remain on the hard drive in the Import folder. All other images will be cleaned up based on the configuration of your Import folder cleanup options.
Select this option to display the Browse for Folder window and select a folder. Click OK. The Filmstrip displays the image files from the selected folder.
The selected images are not imported.
Select this option to fill any blank frames in the gallery view with images from the Filmstrip from left to right, and in the order of the frames in the gallery.
Save remaining imagesSave remaining images
Select this option to import any remaining file folder images in the Filmstrip into the software as photo objects.
Select this option to designate the type of visit to display in the Gallery Edit view, such as final records, initial records, poor oral hygiene, and progress records.
By default, only unused visit types are displayed. To list all visit types, enable the Duplicate Visits option in Preferences.

Drag and drop the images to rearrange their sequence in the Filmstrip or to transfer images to frames in the Gallery Edit View window.
You can drag and drop images from Windows Explorer directly to the Filmstrip or to a frame in the Gallery Edit View window.
If the Filmstrip contains more images than can be displayed on-screen, use the horizontal scroll bar to access them.
Click the Done icon to close the Filmstrip and Gallery Edit View window.
If this is your first time using this feature, the Import Folder Cleanup window is displayed. Select one of the following actions for the remaining objects and imported files in the import folder:
Leave them in the folder, I will deal with them later. No files will be deleted from the import folder.
Bring remaining files into the visit as generic objects. Then delete them from the import folder. Previously imported files will also be deleted. The import folder will be emptied.
Delete them (unrecoverable). I no longer need any of them in the import folder. Import folder will be emptied.
Delete the imported files, but leave the remaining files.
To apply this option for all future Filmstrips, select Do the same action I select now every time without asking.
Click OK.
