Managing Objects > Using the Filmstrip
To configure Filmstrip preferences:
Click on the
toolbar. The CS
OMS Imaging Preferences window is displayed.
Click the Add/Import/Export tab.
To monitor the default import folder for new files, select Watch Import Folder (sets Batch Acquire and Automatic Visit). The program will now automatically create a new visit and enter Filmstrip editing mode when it detects new files in the import folder.
The import folder can contain multiple paths separated by ;. The Watch Import Folder (sets Batch Acquire and Automatic Visit) option monitors the import folder(s) for new files. When new files are detected, a new visit is automatically created.
Click OK.
If you change the selected gallery while in Gallery Edit view mode, the following results occur:
For a new visit, any objects added to it are removed from the visit. The Gallery View window displays a set of blank frames for the selected gallery. The Filmstrip displays all files in the default import folder. If you use the Import File function to add a file manually, it is added to the visit as a photo.
For existing visits, editing ceases in the Gallery View window. Changes made to an existing gallery are saved when you switch Gallery views.
