Selecting Image Orientation
When selecting the orientation of an image, you have the option to mask
rotated images to keep the image squared in the frame after rotation.
You can select one of the following orientation views:
None:No
orientation is used. The x-ray image and the photo image are both
viewed as captured.
X-ray
Position:The
profile photo image is rotated to match the x-ray image based on the
soft tissue nasion and the soft tissue A point.
Natural
Head Position:The
x-ray image is aligned with the photo image based on the soft tissue
nasion and the soft tissue A point.
Frankfort
Horizontal:The
x-ray image is rotated so the Frankfort horizontal is horizontal.
The profile photo image is rotated to match the rotated x-ray image
based on the soft tissue nasion and the soft tissue A point.
To select the orientation of an image:
Select an image to perform treatment
planning and view the x-ray image or the photo image where you want
to change the orientation.
Right-click on the image and select
View > Orientation.
Select the type of orientation you
want to use.
Select Mask
Rotated Images to have the image fill the frame after rotation.
Click OK.
