Isodensity Tool

The Isodensity tool shows areas of equal density as a single color, enabling you to identify areas of interest on the x-ray image. This tool is reserved for intraoral digital radiography images.

To use the Isodensity tool:

On the Tool Box toolbar, click the Isodensity button. The Isodensity toolbox is displayed.
Click a point in the image. All points in the image with similar density are displayed in the same color.
You can select up to three points at the same time.

To change a color associated with a point, click the Color box next to the value, select a color, and click OK.
To change the range of the points selected, move the slider to the left to exclude points and to the right to include points.
To close the window, click Close.
