Creating a Smile Library

Before using the Smile library, you must export images from existing cases to use with the Smile library tool.

To set the Smile library export folder, see Setting Paintings Preferences.
To set the default file type for smile images, see Setting Paintings Preferences.

To export a smile image:

Open the patient image chart containing the finished treatment images.
From the Table of Contents, right-click the patient’s Center image and select Export. The Select Folder window is displayed.
Navigate to the folder containing your Smile library.
Type a descriptive name, such as Adult Silver Brackets, in the File Name field.
Select a file type from the drop-down list in the Save as type: field.
Click Save. The image is saved in the Smile library folder.
