The Digital Denture Workflow Description

The Denture module is an additional module of CS Imaging under entitlement.
A wizard guides the user through steps:

1. User performs copy denture workflows (see workflows below) with a Carestream Dental CBCT,
2. User reviews the digital copy,
3. User either accepts or rejects the digital copy,
4. If user accepts the digital copy, STL files are made available in the CS Imaging gallery,

1. If user rejects then no STL files are made available.

           

Note: User can share the STL files with a Service Center for subsequent CAD/CAM work.

 

The module supports single arch, dual arch, wax rims and immediate denture workflows.

• A copy of a single denture or stone will create a single STL of the object.
• A copy of Denture over Denture or over stone in occlusion will split automatically the 2 objects and create 2 STL.
• A copy of Denture over Denture or over stone in occlusion with bite registration will split automatically the 3 objects and create 3 STL: one for maxillary, one for the mandibular and a combo of the 3 objects.
• A copy of Wax rim over Wax rim or stone or denture will not split the object(s) and create a single combo STL.

 

Pre-requisites for Denture module

1. Installation of CS Imaging Suite 3.11 or above on the CS Imaging server of the site.
2. CS Imaging Site must be entitled to the Denture Module.
3. User must use a CS Imaging station configured as a Carestream Dental CBCT acquisition station.
