CS Imaging Client Configuration Requirements

When CS Imaging Client is also an acquisition Workstation, please refer to equipment requirements.

Network Requirements

In cases where the image database is located on a different computer than the CS Imaging installation, network requirements will be different:

If 3D volumes are present, then use 1000 BaseT network bandwidth (1Gb/s).

Windows 10, 64-bit O/S shall be considered as the principal systems on which the software shall be running against.

See your computer documentation for details of your current hardware and display specifications.

WARNING: You are responsible for implementing a system that routinely makes a backup copy of your image database, as well as your other database files, so that in the event of a computer crash, you can recover stored images. Carestream Dental is not responsible for backing up your data.

To obtain maximum image quality and visual comfort, position the workstation screens to avoid direct light reflections from internal or external lighting.

Always use Microsoft Windows Update to make sure that the latest security patches are correctly installed on your computer.

IMPORTANT: CS Imaging Version 8 is not designed for Windows touchscreens.
