Working with Images > Using the Control Panel > Using the Image Processing Tool
When a relevant radiographic image is selected, the Filter toolbar in the Control Panel shows the Sharpness filter. This filter allows you to increase image contrast in intraoral and panoramic and cephalometric extraoral images. This filter emphasizes less visible details, such as lateral canals or small fractures.
To use the Sharpness filter,
in the Image Processing tool (), click

To check your analysis, switch the Sharpness filter off and try using a different contrast tool, for example the Highlight tool, to confirm your findings. See Using the Highlight Tool.
