Enhancing Images

CS Imaging provides many functions to enhance images.

For example, you can adjust the contrast of an image to highlight tissue type and regions of interests, or you can use colors when searching for problems that might be hard to see in a normal grayscale image.

We suggest the following workflows for enhancing images:

Display the image or images you want to work with in the Image Viewing Workspace.

Make quick adjustments or apply a basic filter. The filters that are available depend on the image modality.

Add measurements and annotations.
