Setting Up Practice Preferences > Setting Up Audit Log and Security Options
This checkbox is a default selection in the Audit Log section on the Audit Logs & Security tab. When this checkbox is selected, you can view the Audit Log as needed, provided you have the appropriate security level.
To view the Audit Log, you must set the security levels in the Set Security Level Permissions window.
To set up the Audit Log security:
Select Utilities > Security. The Set Security Level Permissions window is displayed.
Click the Other folder.
Select the appropriate level checkboxes for the View Audit Log.
To view the Audit Log:
Select Utilities > View Audit Log. The Audit Log Viewer window is displayed.
Select the appropriate criteria from the Selection\Filter Criteria section and click Find. The Current Selection Criteria section displays the Audit Log for the criteria selected.
To print the Audit Log details, do the following:
Click Print. The Print Audit Log window is displayed.
Click Print or Preview.
To purge the Audit Log details, do the following:
Click Purge. The Audit Log Viewer message is displayed.
Click Yes if you want to purge all displayed Audit Log items.
To purge Audit Log items, you must have permission in the Set Security Level Permissions window in the Other folder.
