Setting Up Practice Preferences
Use the Statements tab to set up general billing statement information.
Select Tables > Practice > Practice Preferences. The Practice Data Entry window is displayed.
Select the Statements tab.
In the Dunning Message fields, type the message to be displayed on the billing statement according to the age of the statement.
In the Select Message by field, choose the dunning message selection method from the list.
Select a return payment address from the Return Address by drop-down list.
If Lockbox is selected, click the ellipsis button to select a Lockbox ID from the list.
Select the Do Not Show Ins Portion on Stmt checkbox to bill the entire balance to the patient, regardless of balance responsibility.
Select the Include History checkbox to print the transaction history on each statement.
Select the Consolidate Guarantor Stmt checkbox to print all outstanding transactions for which the guarantor is responsible on one statement.
In the Default Individual Statement Type field, select a default statement format for individual statement printing from the drop-down list.
In the Default Batch Statement Type field, select a default statement format for batch statement printing from the drop-down list.

Last Visit Date
Enter a number of days in the Min Cycle Billing Days field. This determines when the statement is sent.
Enter a number of days in the Billing Frequency field. This determines how often the patient will be billed.
