Setting Up Experts

Use the Experts tab to set up the practice default options for the Contact and Office experts.

  1. Select Tables > Practice > Practice Preferences. The Practice Data Entry window is displayed.
  2. Select the Experts tab.

Contact Expert

  1. For Require Contact Note, select one of the following:
    • AlwaysAlwaysRequires the user to enter a contact note for items that are marked as processed.

    • NeverNeverA contact note is not required.

    • PromptPromptIf selected, the Contact Note window is displayed, giving you the option to enter a contact note. Selecting this option enables you to exit the Contact Note window while still marking the line item as processed.

  1. Select Refresh Aging/Balance to display the current aging each time the expert is processed.
  2. In the AR Expert Default Refund Code field, use the drop-down list to select a refund code, such as RF - Refund Transaction.
