This tab indicates pre-treatments that were noted by the doctor during a previous visit. Use this tab to convert pre-treatments to actual treatments.
You can view the procedure codes and their associated diagnosis codes by clicking the Details button. The View Treatment Plan Details window displays procedures regardless of whether they have been performed or converted to charges.
To convert pre-treatments:
In the Encounter window, tap the Treatment Plans tab. The active treatment plan is displayed, with the list of associated procedures.
If other treatment plans exist, you can select them from the Treatment Plan drop-down list.
To convert these treatment plans to actual charges, use one of the following methods:
Tap the Convert checkbox next to each item that needs to be converted.
Tap Convert All to convert all the pre-treatments listed. All checkboxes populate with a check mark.
After selecting Convert All, the Convert None button is displayed. If you converted all of the pre-treatments by mistake, to undo the Convert All action, click Convert None.
Tap Finish. An Encounter window is displayed.
Tap Ok.
This PTE Encounter is now an actual charge and can be found in the Optical Ticket Queue window in the software.
