Using the Shortcuts Tab

An encounter shortcut represents a group of commonly posted data, and enables you to group a set of procedures frequently associated with a specific diagnosis with related prescriptions, letters, and recalls.

To view shortcut details:

1. To select an encounter, tap a line in the Description section. The details for the shortcut are displayed in the Selected Shortcut Detail section.

2. You can add or delete a Shortcut Detail from the Selected Items section.

To add a shortcut from the Description section,To add a shortcut from the Description section,select a detail and tap the Add button. The Selected Shortcut Detail is added to the Selected Items.

To delete a Shortcut Detail Item,To delete a Shortcut Detail Item,expand the Selected Items section and select the appropriate checkbox under the Post column. It is automatically deleted.

To remove the entire Selected Shortcut Detail for an already selected description,To remove the entire Selected Shortcut Detail for an already selected description,tap on the detail from the Description section and tap the Delete button.
