Using the Diagnosis Tab

You can add a diagnosis for a patient by using the Show Category or Search features, or directly from the Diagnosis tab.

To add a diagnosis for a patient by a category:


Show Categories Button

  1. On the Diagnosis tab, tap the Show Categories button. The Diagnosis Categories Description box is displayed.

  2. Select the diagnosis from the Diagnosis Categories Description list. A list of diagnosis codes is displayed.

  3. Select the appropriate Diagnosis Code checkbox. You can select more than one at a time.

  4. You are not required to select a category from the Diagnosis Categories Description box prior to selecting a code. If you prefer, you can select a Diagnosis Code from the original list displayed on the Diagnosis tab.



Next Page Button

Tap the Next Page button displayed next to the diagnosis. The next tab is automatically displayed.

Use the Search feature when adding diagnosis codes that are not found on the ticket.

To use the Search feature to add a diagnosis code:

  1. On the Diagnosis tab, tap Search. The Search Results window is displayed.

  2. Do one of the following:

The Search Results section displays the diagnosis code.

  1. After the appropriate code is found, tap Add. The code is added to the Selected Items section.

  2. Tap Next Page. The Pre-Treatments tab is displayed.

To add a diagnosis from the Diagnosis tab:

  1. On the Diagnosis tab, select the appropriate Diagnosis Code checkboxes. You can select more than one at a time.

  2. Tap Next Page. The Pre-Treatments tab is displayed.

  3. If you do not need to enter information on a particular tab, you can skip it and select the tab for which you need to enter information.
