Editing Patient Information

To edit patient information:

  1. From the Patient window, select Workspace > Demographics > Edit. The Patient Data Entry window is displayed.

  2. Select the Basic tab to change a patient's address, preferred phone number, doctor and referral information, and insurance policies.

  3. Select the Extended tab to edit or add a patient's employer or student status, diagnosis codes, emergency contact information, and HIPAA privacy guidelines.

  4. Select the Billing tab to edit the patient's guarantor status, and edit guarantor information, and specify billing options for the patient.

  5. Click Ok.

Deleting a Patient Record

To delete a patient's record, select the patient from the Patient Search window and click Delete. You are prompted to confirm. Click Yes.
