Working with Time Intervals and Options

A time interval refers to the length of time for the shortest appointment and is the multiple by which other appointment lengths are determined.

Example: Consideration should be given to setting the time interval; after it is set, it cannot be changed.

You can set your appointment book to open to the current time or to open at the beginning of the current day each time the scheduler is accessed. Time intervals and scheduler options are determined while you are setting up your practice in the Practice Data Entry window. For more information, see Setting Up Practice Preferences.
