For charges to be billed on the UB92 form, setup procedures must be completed, and UB92 information must be entered.
To indicate that a procedure is to be billed on a UB92 form, UB92 Billable must be selected in the Options section of the Procedure Code Data Entry window.
To indicate that an insurance plan covers UB92 charges, a UB92 Format Number must be entered in the Forms/IDs section of the Insurance Plan Data Entry window.
After the procedures and insurance plans are set up, enter UB92 information. This information is entered through the Visit section of the Charge Entry window.
UB92 claims are created and printed in the same manner as other claim forms.
