Accessing Referrals

To open the Referral window:

1. On the WinOMS toolbar, click . The Referral Source Search window is displayed.

2. Type search criteria in the search fields and click Find. The records matching your search criteria are displayed in the left side of the Referral Source Search window.

3. You can click the Recently Accessed tab to display a list of referral sources whose records have been accessed during the current session of this computer.

4. Double-click the doctor record for which you want to see referrals. The Referral window is displayed.

Click the icon to see a description of the button:
 

To view information about a patient sent to you by the referral, double-click the patient name in the Referred Patients section of the Referral window.
