After you have selected the Enable Strong Passwords checkbox on the HIPAA tab, the next time you log in, you are prompted to change your password to a strong password.
To log in with a strong password:
Log in to the software with your standard user ID and password. Click Ok. The Change Password window is displayed.
In the Current Password field, type your current password.
In the New Password field, type your new password. The password criteria are displayed on the right side of the window.
In the Confirm New Password field, type the new password again.
Click Ok. A Change Password message is displayed, indicating the password was changed successfully.
If the new password does not meet the strong password criteria, a Password Validation message is displayed. Click Ok and create another password.
After five incorrect login attempts, the software automatically locks you out for 10 minutes.
