Checking Eligibility

To see if a patient is eligible for benefits under a specific policy:

1. In the Patient window, right-click the top portion of the window and select Eligibility. The WinOMS eVerifications Eligibility Service Reports window is displayed.

2. Select the appropriate tab to view the information, or print insurance policy details.

3. Click Print if you need a copy of eligibility details.

4. If this patient’s insurance company does not support insurance eligibility requests, a message is displayed in the WinOMS Electronic Eligibility Service window.

To view the Insurance Eligibility reports:

1. Select Reports > Insurance > eVerifications. The WinOMS eVerifications Eligibility Service Reports window is displayed.

2. Select the tabs to view information.
