Capturing Signatures

To capture signatures on a digital form, you need a tablet PC, or a compatible LCD signature pad device for your regular PC.

If you use a tablet PC, there are two ways you can capture digital signatures:

• Digital InkingUse the stylus to sign the digital form directly and to make notes anywhere on the document.

• Digital Signature ControlWhen designing the digital form, insert a digital signature control from the Document Controls Gallery. This creates a special signature field on the form that requires you to tap the field to activate it, and then click OK after you sign the field. The signature is secure and encrypted.
