The WinOMS ePrescriptions service enables you to send and manage prescriptions electronically. After you enroll in this service and set up the integration, the Rx window of the Patient EMR feature interacts directly with ePrescriptions, to facilitate direct communication with the patient's pharmacy using stored preferences.

To enable the WinOMS integration with the ePrescriptions service:
Select Tables > eServices > Configure Other eServices. The Other eServices Configuration window is displayed.
Select ePrescriptions. The ePrescriptions tab is displayed.
Select Enable ePrescriptions.
In the Server Name field, enter the name of the computer that is hosting the Sybase database server.
In the TCP Port field, enter the TCP Port that was configured for the Sybase Database webservice.
The current version of the installed ePrescriptions application is displayed on this tab. If the application is not installed, "N/A" is indicated for the version number.
Click OK.
These settings are saved to the database, but no validation for the server name or port is performed.
