Setting Up Patient Information
Your office can take digital images of patients during an appointment and use them for future reference. You can associate a digital photograph of your patients so it is available for viewing in the Patient Workspace window.
Use the Imaging button to narrow your search to images that have already been scanned and associated with the patient, or that are already attached to the patient in the OMS imaging software, if your office uses this software application

In the Patient
Workspace window, click . The
Portrait window is displayed.
Click Imaging. The Select Image window is displayed.
In the Source field, select WinOMS Image if the patient portrait is an image that was scanned into the patient's record. If the image you want is stored in the OMS imaging database, select OMS Imaging Software.
If you selected WinOMS Image in the Source field, select the appropriate criteria from the following fields:

If the Preview checkbox is selected, you can preview the image you selected, or click Open. The image is selected as the portrait for that patient.
The Browse button lets you navigate to any folder or file on your network to select an image.

In the Patient Workspace
window, click .
The Portrait window is displayed.
Click Browse. The Browse for Patient Portrait window is displayed.
Select the image of the patient from the appropriate file and click Open. The image is displayed in the Patient Portrait section.
Click Ok.
This image is available each time you open the Portrait window.
