Enabling the Voice Activation Module

Perform the following steps on each workstation that will use the voice activation module.

• You must have the appropriate license to use this feature. See Activating the Voice Activation Module.

To enable the voice activation module:

1. Open SoftDent software on the workstation.

2. Open a patient's chart.

3. Click Perio in the charting menu bar, and select Voice Activation Module.

4. Select SoftDent Voice Activation Module Options.

5. Select Enable from the drop-down menu, and click OK.
