Transmitting Claims

To transmit validated claims:

1. Select an option:

2. In the eServices window:In the eServices window:Click Transmit.

3. From the main menu:From the main menu:Select Submit Data > Transmit.

If you are using Internet File Transfer:If you are using Internet File Transfer:You can transmit claims from any computer with an Internet connection. During transmission, the PWCOMM Web Enabled Transfer window displays the connection status messages.

If you are using a modem:If you are using a modem:You can transmit claims only from the computer with the modem, and the telephone line must be clear. The PWCOMM window displays the modem connection and status messages.

2. If a message is displayed, click OK. Any downloaded reports are displayed in the Report List window. These reports can be previewed or printed and contain important status and bulletin information.

3. When you are finished reviewing the reports, click Exit.

4. You can submit claims as often as you like. Claims received after 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (approximately) are processed on the next business day.
