Posting a Scheduled Treatment Plan Procedure

When you post a scheduled treatment plan procedure in the patient’s Transactions window:

• It is no longer displayed in the Treatment Plan List window.

• The transaction type is changed from primary to actual.

• A notation is displayed in the Transactions window.

When you check out patients with treatment plans:When you check out patients with treatment plans:Select Treatment Plan from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu to display the Treatment Plan List window.

In this window:

• You can see whether any of the procedures are treatment plan items.

• If you don't check this information at the time of checkout:If you don't check this information at the time of checkout:You may post invalid treatment plan items because the procedures were changed at the time of service.

• If you post a transaction that matches a treatment plan procedure, that procedure is automatically deleted from the treatment plan.
