Posting Refunds

To post a refund to an account or patient record:

  1. Select an option:

  2. In the Account List window:

  4. In the Patient List window:

  5. In the Patient window:

The Payments window is displayed.

  1. Select Refunds in the Select Operation section. The Payments - Refund Credits window is displayed. The default credit refund code is displayed in the Code drop-down list. The total for transactions displayed in the window is displayed in the Amount field.

  2. Type the refund amount associated with each transaction in the appropriate Amount column.

  3. To add a note to a transaction, select the Notes column for the transaction, and type the information.

  4. Click Post.

  5. Click Close.
