Setting Up Ortho Codes

The software automatically prompts you to create an ortho insurance case when you post a transaction for an orthodontic production code. By default, codes 8000.00 through 8999.99 are ortho codes.

To exclude an ortho code (8000 range) from the ortho insurance budget plan:

1. Select an option:

2. From the List menu, select ADA Codes.

3. In any window, press Ctrl + C.

4. Select ADA Code List Window from the Power Bar. See Using the Power Bar for more information.

The ADA/Transaction Codes List window is displayed in FIND mode.

2. Select the code from the list.

3. To exclude the code from the list of ortho insurance budget plan codes, deselect Ortho Code.

4. Click OK.

5. Click Close twice.
