The Lab Case report generates a list of lab cases, displaying the patient’s name and ID, invoice number, lab name, and lab phone numbers. The report also shows the opened, expected, and returned dates for each case, as well as the case status and fee. The total dollars charged in lab fees is also calculated.

If the case is currently at the lab, it is considered an open/expected case.
If the case has been returned from the lab, it is an open/returned case.
If the case has been returned and all clinical procedures associated with the case have been performed, the case is considered complete.
To run the Lab Case report:
Select Reports > Practice Management > Lab Case Report. The Output Options window is displayed.
Select the output and click OK. The Lab Case Report Setup window is displayed.
In the Patient IDs section, click the drop-down arrows to select the starting and ending patient identification numbers from a list.
To include inactive patients in the report, click the Include Inactive Patients option.
In the "Expected Back" Date Range section, click the drop-down arrows to select the starting and ending expected back dates from a list.
In the Providers section, click the drop-down arrow to select specific providers from a list, or leave 999 to report on all providers.
In the Patient User Codes section, type a user code in the Include or Exclude fields to include or exclude patients with a specific user code.
In the Lab Cases section, select from the following:

To use color/shading in the report, select Include Color/Shading.
Click OK.
